Accreditation

Under the direction of our board-certified pathologists, CentraCare Laboratory Services has consistently maintained accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the Joint Commission.

In addition, the Transfusion Services Program has consistently maintained its accreditation by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

CentraCare Laboratory Services further promotes high quality testing by employing only ASCP and/or NCA certified personnel to perform the actual clinical testing. Similarly, cytology tests are prepared and examined by an ASCP-certified cytotechnologist, and later reviewed by a pathologist. The above standards of quality, coupled with state-of-the-art technology, allow CCLS to provide high quality, sophisticated, clinical testing to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of hospital and clinic patients.
