The Birth Center is equipped to handle both high- and low-risk pregnancies. In 2024, we were named by US News & World Report as high performing in maternity care.

Some features of the Birth Center include:
- OB hospitalists on the unit 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist with deliveries
- On-site nurse midwives as part of the care team — dependent on availability and level of care required
- A triage unit with six private rooms where your stage of labor can be rapidly assessed
- Six antepartum suites for women having pregnancy problems, such as premature labor or high blood pressure
- 12 labor/delivery/recovery suites with large private bathrooms with air-jetted tubs
- Two dedicated surgical suites for Caesarean births
- The opportunity to have your baby stay in your room with you after delivery
- 26 postpartum suites with a spacious family area, including comfortable seating and a convertible sofa for an overnight guest
- Close proximity to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
