When to Come to the Hospital

Know the Signs of Labor:

• Contractions are strong and regular
• Contractions are every five minutes, lasting 55-60 seconds
• Your water breaks
• Decreased fetal movement
• Bleeding, more than "show" or spotting
• You are concerned/not comfortable at home

Check with your provider for specific recommendations and call the facility to let them know you are coming.
