What is CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital Clara’s House?
Clara’s House is a Partial Hospitalization Program for children and adolescents ages 5-18 who may have emotional, behavioral or psychiatric difficulties. Clara’s House provides intensive, collaborative, therapeutic services with a goal of stabilization and improving emotional well-being.

CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital Clara's House is named after the benefactor, Mae Ellingson-Skalicky’s mother “Clara,” who spent her life loving and caring for children.

Services offered at CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital Clara’s House
Psychiatric Services: Individual psychiatric evaluation and medication management
Therapeutic Services: Individual therapy, family therapy, and psychotherapy groups
Skills Education Groups: Develop helpful ways to manage thought, feelings, and behaviors
Art Therapy: Therapeutic art helps children and adolescents explore and express emotions
Recreational Therapy: Teach youth individual leisure activities as well as teaching cooperation in a group setting. Keeping your mind and body connected is an essential part of treatment

- Sports Court
Education: Two hours of education is provided daily during the school year
