If your friend or loved one is a patient at the CentraCare – Paynesville Hospital, we welcome you and encourage you to visit. Family members and close friends play a vital role in a patient’s recovery and return to health. Because we want your experience here to be as easy and comfortable as possible, we encourage you to take advantage of the hospital resources available to you. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask any of our staff members for help.
Hospital Stay
Courtyard Cafe
The hospital cafe is located near our hospital and serves employees, patients and visitors. Visitors can inquire about purchasing a meal from our cafeteria through the hospital nurses station.
Room Service
We want to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. We are pleased to offer room service which allows the patient and visitors to have the opportunity to order what you want, when you want it. For more information regarding our room service hospitality, please see the room service menu in the patient room or contact the nurses station. We are happy to serve you.
Chapel and Meditation Garden
Private space and sanctuary can be found in the middle of our health care campus in Paynesville. Family members, patients and visitors are encouraged to use our Meditation Chapel, located near our hospital, and is available at all times. Our outdoor Meditation Garden is open seasonally and offers colorful plants, water features and beautiful walking paths lined with personalized memorial bricks.
Smoke Free Campus
We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a smoke-free environment inside and outside all of our health care properties. This smoke-free policy ensures a safe and healthy environment for our visitors, employees, volunteers and medical staff. We appreciate your help in keeping our grounds as clean as possible.
Social Work
Individual and family counseling is available through our Social Workers. If you need personal or family care assistance, please call 320-243-3767 and ask to speak with our Social Worker.
Latex Free Policy
In the interest of the health of our patients and staff, CentraCare - Paynesville has a latex-free policy. Because of this, latex balloons are not permitted inside the hospital. Mylar balloons are allowed. Please notify the staff if your have any allergies, especially to latex products.
Gift Shop
Volunteers manage the gift shop and keep it stocked with cards, candy and reasonably priced gifts for all seasons and holidays.
The gift shop is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Profits from the gift shop are used to fund hospital auxiliary initiatives. The gift shop is located at our Paynesville Campus between the clinic and specialty services.
