Biography What I Do
My clinical interests include pediatric speech and language, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), Beckman Oral Motor techniques, LiPS, adult dysphagia, and I'm MBSImP trained.
Why I Love My Work
I love getting to know each of my patients and their families individually. I also appreciate working collaboratively with the various disciplines in our building on a day-to-day basis.
I knew since my junior year of high school that I wanted to work with children, but in a more one-on-one setting rather than a large classroom. I discovered this profession in a high school careers class and instantly fell in love with it.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, especially my two nephews. I love reading, spending time outdoors, and traveling. I've been white-water rafting and ziplining in Costa Rica, as well as skydiving in Wisconsin.
