    What I Do
I like to engage my patients in their rehab and help them understand what treatment we are doing and why. If a patient knows why they are being asked to do something, they are more likely to perform and achieve their desired functional gains. I make them an active partner in their care. I like to motivate patients to work hard and make therapy sessions enjoyable.
My special clinical interests include neurologic population including traumatic brain injury (TBI), cerebrovascular accident/stroke, concussions, balance and dizziness including vestibular dysfunction and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV).

    Why I Love My Work
I wanted to become a physical therapist after an injury in high school. I liked what they did and how it helped me get back to playing my sport. I wanted to help people and enjoyed the active role a physical therapist plays in patient care.

Physical therapists often get to follow patients for an extended time allowing for a relationship to form. I enjoy getting to know patients and developing a trust and friendship during our rehab process.

    Getting to Know Me
My hobbies include outdoor activities, hiking and biking. I raise honeybees for the honey and feel like I am helping mother nature. I have a special love for Minnesota's north shore and like to visit often.
