    What I Do

My job as a family medicine doctor is to navigate the world of medicine for the patient. This includes educating on different diseases, treat the disease with medications and other modalities, and reduce risk for the patients through preventative disease efforts. All this to help patients live life to the fullest.

    Why I Love My Work

I enjoy the relationships you build with the patients. You see them yearly or every 6 months for checks on their health. In family medicine we also see the kids and grandparents. It is always fun to see those connections. I also enjoy the variety of family medicine. I can be seeing a baby one minute, diabetes the next and the afternoon I could be going to the Nursing home.

Early in high school, I went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic and there witnessed malnutrition and from that point on I knew I could make a difference and started the path toward medical school.

    Getting to Know Me

I grew up on a farm, so I enjoy working my garden, building projects and enjoying the fruits of my labor from the garden.

Currently I am serving as chief of Staff for CentraCare-Redwood and am Medical Director for the Clinic.
