Biography What I Do
My interests in both science and serving others led to my decision to choose family practice. I believe that health care involves caring for the whole person. This involves looking at an individual’s lifestyle, social involvement, and medical needs. I like to spend time getting to know my patient and looking at their goals, then working together towards accomplishing them. Why I Love My Work
The ability to be involved in many different types of medicine made Family Medicine a good choice for me. I like having the opportunity to work with patients in the clinic, hospital, emergency, and obstetric settings. Family Medicine, along with other specialties, is a journey of life-long learning. I appreciate the ability to get to know my patients over time, to better guide them towards fulfilling their health goals.Getting to Know Me
I grew up in the Paynesville area. Being able to live and practice in my hometown community, and to be closer to family, is exciting. I love the outdoors and enjoy biking, hiking, traveling, sewing, and cooking. Being able to partake in my hobbies and activities, surrounded by the supportive feeling of a close-knit community, is what I am looking forward to.Education -
