Biography While Dr. Staiger is passionate about helping people, his greatest enjoyment comes from spending time with his wife and children, from family movie nights to hiking in the Rocky Mountains, and enjoying the changing seasons here in Minnesota. The Staiger family is involved in helping others through several mission opportunities.
While surgery is sometimes the best option to treat issues affecting the hand and upper extremity, I always make sure that the patient and I have explored all of the non-operative strategies first. My goal is to also maximize overall well-being for the patient by encouraging healthy lifestyle choices from exercise to good eating habits.; - Dr. Staiger

Areas Of Interest Dr. Staiger is a Minnesota native who has been with St. Cloud Orthopedics since 2000. His expertise is in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery, and he completed a Hand Fellowship at the University of Minnesota. While the majority of his patients are seen for hand and upper extremity conditions, he still enjoys general orthopedics. Some of the surgical procedures that he particularly enjoys involve joint reconstruction of the hand and wrist, fractures, tendon injuries and carpal tunnel surgery. He strives to help his patients maximize their recovery by staying on the cutting edge of advancements in hand surgery and orthopedics. -
