CentraCare Names New President of CentraCare – Sauk Centre
CentraCare is pleased to announce Adam Paulson as its new president of CentraCare – Sauk Centre. Paulson started his role on March 4.
“We look forward to working with Adam in his new role,” said CentraCare Executive Director of Rural Health Bryan Bauck. “Adam’s passion for rural health care and his knowledge and experience will be a valuable asset as we continue to grow and serve Sauk Centre and the surrounding communities.”
Paulson has more than 11 years of experience with CentraCare. He recently served as the CentraCare director of Finance Senior Services and Financial Planning and Analysis West Region. Prior to this, he was the director of Finance at CentraCare – Melrose and Sauk Centre and held an interim long-term care administrator role in Melrose.
“Adam is an exceptional relationship builder who has the ability to engage and work through the many different stakeholder perspectives of complex health care issues,” Bauck said. “He brings with him much knowledge and background in rural health care to ensure CentraCare – Sauk Centre is well-positioned for the future. I am confident we will benefit from his experience and passion.”
Paulson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Healthcare Management from Concordia College in Moorhead with concentrations in Healthcare Administration and Healthcare Finance. He also has an active license as a Minnesota Nursing Home Administrator.
“I grew up in a rural community and saw firsthand the importance of rural health care,” said Paulson. “I look forward to continuing my passion through helping lead a team that will continue the respected tradition of outstanding care at CentraCare – Sauk Centre. And I am excited about the opportunity to cultivate relationships within our campus and with the community of Sauk Centre."
Living in rural Sauk Centre, Paulson and his wife, Mindy, have two daughters, Hadley and Tinsley. In his free time, he loves spending time with his family and enjoys anything outdoors including hunting, fishing and camping.
