CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital Honored by LifeSource as ‘Hospital Partner of the Year’
CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital received Lifesource’s Hospital Partner of the Year Award at the Donate Life Day event on April 15 for nurturing a culture of organ, eye and tissue donation over the past year.
In 2022, St. Cloud Hospital collaborated with LifeSource to care for 19 donors and their families more than any other previous year and nearly doubling from 2021. Because of the generosity of these donors and their families:
- 71 organs were donated
- 59 lives were saved
In the past year, St. Cloud Hospital also had 57 tissue donors who provided healing to thousands of people and 45 eye donors who restored sight and brought better quality of life to those in need.

The staff at St. Cloud Hospital work in collaboration with a liaison team from LifeSource that provides a daily presence at the hospital. The staff are open to providing feedback and suggestions for improvement to LifeSource in order to strengthen this partnership and meet the needs of our patients and their loved ones.
