Published in Media Releases

Along With New Curbside Location, Care Options Have Been Added For COVID-19 Concerns

Starting Tuesday, October 27, CentraCare will move its St. Cloud curbside testing operation to a new location in Waite Park. The new location, near Menard’s at 602 3rd Street South, provides shelter for patients and staff while allowing patients to remain in their vehicle for their curbside testing appointment.

CentraCare is also expanding the care options for patients with COVID-19 concerns, which includes walk-in care at CentraCare Plaza Urgent Care in St. Cloud. Patients no longer need an appointment.

What care options exist for people with concerns about COVID-19 symptoms?

  • COVID-19 testing at one of our curbside testing locations. Make an appointment online or call 320-200-3200.
  • Schedule a video visit with a primary care provider by contacting their clinic. Video visits are a great option for people with mild symptoms.
  • Schedule an in-person visit at one of our primary care clinic locations that is seeing both ill and well patients. Today, these locations include clinics in Albany, Becker, Big Lake, Long Prairie, Melrose, Paynesville, Richmond, Sauk Centre and CentraCare Plaza Clinic Pediatrics in St. Cloud. • Walk-in at CentraCare Plaza Urgent Care. Appointments are no longer required for those with COVID-19 symptoms at this location.
  • Visit CentraCare eClinic to meet with a provider on-demand, from the comfort of their home.

Any person who is not sure what to do can call CentraCare Connect and speak to a nurse about care options, 24/7. These expanded care options will allow patients to find care that is right at home or near their home and fits their lifestyle.

With increasing COVID-19 cases in our communities, CentraCare wants to remind everyone about the importance of wearing face coverings, frequent hand washing and safe social distancing measures. We know that by doing things safer, we can impact the spread of COVID-19.
