Blair joins CentraCare as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Mike Blair will join CentraCare Health as senior vice president and chief financial officer, effective September 30, 2019.

Blair is currently chief financial officer for University of Missouri Health Care. He previously served as vice president of finance for University of Minnesota Health – Fairview Health and senior director of Finance and Accounting at Children’s Minnesota. Mike has also held finance positions at HealthFitness, Lifetouch, Pillsbury, Jostens and Selectcare.

“Mike’s depth and breadth of finance experience in health care and for-profit organizations, combined with his knowledge of Minnesota health care, make him an excellent addition to our executive team,” said Ken Holmen, MD, president and CEO of CentraCare.

Blair received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Cloud State University and his MBA in finance from the University of Minnesota. He is also a certified public accountant and certified management accountant.

Blair is pleased to be returning home. “I was born and raised in Minnesota, attended college and graduate school here, and spent the majority of my career here as well,” Blair said. “It’s exciting for me to return to Minnesota to join one of the state’s highest quality health care organizations.”
