Sweet & Sour Pork
Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork tenderloin tips, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 (20-ounce) can pineapple chunks in juice, drained
- 1 (10-ounce) jar sweet and sour sauce
- 1 medium onion, cut into 1/4-inch slices, not rings
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 5 tablespoons water
Directions
Spray a crock pot with non-fat cooking spray. In the crockpot, combine the pork, pineapple, sweet and sour sauce, and onion until well mixed. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours. Remove the meat, pineapple, and onion. In a bowl stir the flour and water together until dissolved. Turn the crock pot to high. Briskly stir in the flour and water mixture.
Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until thickened. Return the meat, pineapple, and onions to the sauce.
Yield: 6 servings (1 serving = 1 cup)
