CentraCare Health Weight Management Recipe

Recipe from Weight Management Health Coach Michelle Lee, BS

Ingredients for crust

  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese or 1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
  • Season to taste

Use your favorite sauce, light cheese, veggies, and lean meats as toppings.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400-425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. Use a small amount of oil or cooking spray to keep the crust from sticking.
  2. Combine ingredients and form crust to look like a flatbread (about a ¼-inch thick).
  3. Bake until top is browned and edges are slightly crispy — 20-30 minutes. For an extra crispy crust, turn on broiler.
  4. Remove baking sheet from oven and top with your favorite pizza toppings.
  5. Bake until cheese on top is melted and your toppings are done, approximately 8-10 minutes.
