CentraCare Health – Monticello Hosts Annual Diabetes Health Fair

CentraCare Health - Monticello is hosting its annual Diabetes Health Fair for the community on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, from 3 – 6 p.m. in the lower level of the hospital. This free event features blood pressure checks and glucose screenings; tips for healthy food choices; and interactive education on diabetes products, technology, resources and treatments.

“We are proud to host the Diabetes Health Fair to provide free education and screenings to our community members,” said Cortney Steen, RN, BSN, Diabetes Nurse Specialist at CentraCare Health – Monticello. “The diabetes health fair also offers a variety of topics to provide information on diabetes prevention and management. Guests also have the opportunity to meet with health care providers and ask questions in an informal and comfortable setting. The event is a great opportunity for people to learn more about how they can take charge of their health and feel better every day.”
