CentraCare Digestive Center Partners with Take Steps Foundation to Walk for a Cure

Published in Media Releases

More than 250 individuals will walk for a cure in the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Take Steps Walk presented by CentraCare Digestive Center on Sun., September 17th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Lake George in St. Cloud.

Take Steps is a family friendly community celebration dedicated to raising critical funds and awareness of Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative colitis – two painful, debilitating digestive diseases that affect 1 in 200 Americans, including 80,000 children nationwide. Funds raised through Take Steps will help transform the lives of those impacted by these diseases, and support critical research, education and patient support programs.

In 2016, St. Cloud Take Steps raised a record high of $26,200 for research and patient support services and has set a goal to raise $27,000 in 2017. For more information on the St. Cloud Take Steps Walk presented by CentraCare Digestive Center please visit www.cctakesteps.org/stcloud2017.

Thousands of people will gather this year at more than 120 walk sites in local communities across the country.
