St. Cloud Medical Group and CentraCare Health Will Complete Integration
Joint Commitment to Delivering Triple Aim Benefits to the St. Cloud Region
Completing discussions that began in November 2015, two of the St. Cloud region’s leading health care providers announced today that they will proceed with a full integration of their operations, to be completed in two phases over the next two years.
The Federal Trade Commission has reviewed the transaction and agreed to allow it to move forward immediately. A consent decree has been filed with the FTC which describes the transaction.
“The delivery of health care services has been undergoing dramatic changes in recent years, as payers look to reward high quality patient care, including reducing fragmentation of care from different providers,” said Scott Rahm, MD, president of St. Cloud Medical Group. “As a group of physicians, we began exploring the best way to ensure that we were meeting those changing expectations and delivering the care that our patients need and value. This partnership is the result of that review.”

Care provided at St. Cloud Medical Group’s current locations will continue.
