Cultural Café Film Festival: ‘A Day Without a Mexican’
The feature film “A Day Without a Mexican” will be shown at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 20 in the St. Cloud Hospital Hoppe Auditorium as part of CentraCare Health’s Cultural Café Film Festival.
This film is a mockumentary which tells a story about the potentially disastrous results that would occur if California-based Mexicans were to suddenly disappear. The lack of Latino policemen, farmers, entertainers, teachers, athletes and consumers would create a political, social and economic disaster for the state of California.
A door prize drawing will occur immediately after the film; you must be present to win.
Cultural Café Film Festival selections are presented on the third Thursday of every month with films hand-picked for their relevance to cultural issues in our community.
