Published in Media Releases

Project H.E.A.L. (Health, Education, Access, Link) was the recipient of the 2015 Sister Mary Heinen award from the Catholic Health Association of Minnesota. This award recognizes a member of the Catholic Health Association of Minnesota that exemplifies the healing ministry of Jesus and the values of Catholic Social Teaching by providing necessary and accessible health services to the medically underserved.

In May 2001, Project H.E.A.L. began providing free health screenings to the uninsured and underinsured at two locations in St. Cloud. Since that time, it has expanded to sites in Long Prairie, Melrose, Monticello and a third St. Cloud location.

Project H.E.A.L. is an outreach program of the CentraCare Family Health Center in St. Cloud that is made possible thanks to the support of more than 70 volunteers.
