CentraCare Health – Monticello Hosts Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota Pediatric Emergency Education

CentraCare Health – Monticello partnered with Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota to host a pediatric emergency simulation course. Physicians, nurses, and staff from CentraCare Health – Monticello, St. Cloud Hospital, FirstLight Health System, and Cambridge Medical Center received hands-on training, using high – tech manikins to educate staff about pediatric and neonatal emergency situations.

The goal of this training was to improve recognition of deteriorating patient conditions, identify the skills necessary to respond to critical medical events and improve the utilization of teamwork in critical moments. By working together as a team, we are able to streamline our processes and enhance the care we deliver to our patients.”
