Recognized for excellence in culturally appropriate care

St. Cloud, Minn. — CentraCare Family Health Center, 1555 Northway Drive, recently was recognized for receiving UCare’s Excellence in Culturally Competent Care Award for “making significant changes to improve culturally appropriate care and communication with patients from other cultures.”

The CentraCare Family Health Center was one of 19 clinics and health care systems recognized for providing outstanding service in UCare’s 2014 Pay for Performance and quality programs at a June 1 event.

“Health care providers are critical and valued UCare partners,” said Nancy Feldman, president and CEO of UCare. “Our Pay for Performance program recognizes providers who work every day to improve the health of our members. CentraCare Family Health Center has distinguished themselves by earning our Excellence in Culturally Competent Care award.”
