Information by hospitals on quality of care and patients’ experiences.
Consumers can use this information to help make decisions about future
hospital care.
Hospital Compare
Hospital Compare has information about the quality of care at over 4,000
Medicare-certified hospitals across the country. You can use Hospital
Compare to find hospitals and compare the quality of their care.
Joint Commission Quality Check
The Joint Commission site serves as a source of hospital accreditation
information.
Clinics
Minnesota HealthScores
HealthScores provides information about the care provided in clinics (doctor's
offices), medical groups and hospitals throughout Minnesota. HealthScores
was developed by MN Community Measurement, an independent non-profit community
organization.
Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement
The Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement (ICSI) is an independent,
non-profit health care improvement organization that works with physicians,
consumers and health plans to improve health, optimize the patient experience
and make health care more affordable.
Choosing Wisely Minnesota
Choosing Wisely is a national campaign developed by the ABIM Foundation (American Board
of Internal Medicine) to help physicians and patients discuss medical
tests and procedures that medical groups say are not needed, overused
or maybe harmful
