Tom Schrup, MD, MBA

Executive Vice President, Chief Physician Officer

Schrup began his CentraCare career in 1994 as a pediatrician and practiced clinically until he assumed his current role in 2019. Prior to serving in this position, Schrup was Physician Vice President of the Specialty Division from February 2016 through December 2018. He previously served as Medical Director for Provider Relations for four years.

Schrup earned his B.S. and M.D. degrees from the University of Iowa and completed his pediatric residency at the University of Wisconsin. He earned his M.B.A. at the University of Colorado, Denver.

Schrup is a member of the St. Cloud Rotary Club, serves as Medical Director for the St. Joseph Fire Department and volunteers at Pathways 4 Youth.
