Joy Plamann
Joy Plamann, DNP, MBA, RN, BC, is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for CentraCare and President for St. Cloud Hospital. She started her career with CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital in 1994. She has previously served in the roles of Vice President Acute Care/St. Cloud Hospital Chief Nursing Officer, Section Director, Hospital Medicine, Care Center Director, Department Director, Core Charge Nurse, Staff Development Nurse and Charge Nurse.
Plamann is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the American Nurses Association, the American Organization of Nurse Leaders, the Minnesota Organization of Leaders in Nursing, and other professional organizations. Among her awards are the Spirit of Advocacy Award from the Minnesota Hospital Association and the Emerging Leader in Health Care Award from the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST. She currently is serving on the Quiet Oaks Hospice House Board and is the Co-Chair of the Leaders in Giving Cabinet for the United Way.
Plamann received her BSN from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, a HealthCare MBA from the University of St. Thomas, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Health System and Executive Leadership.
