Joe Blonski, MD
Physician Vice President, Ambulatory Division
Blonski has served in his current position since January 2016. From 2003-2016, he was the program director at the University of Minnesota/St. Cloud Hospital Family Medicine Residency. He joined CentraCare in 1995 as one of the inaugural faculty responsible for building and developing a new family medicine residency program in St. Cloud. Blonski has held many positions including St. Cloud Hospital chief of staff, chair of Credentials, and chair of the Practice Evaluation Committee.
Dr. Blonski completed his undergraduate work at Southern Illinois University- Carbondale, subsequently graduated from Loyola-Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, IL in 1987 and completed his Family Medicine internship and residency at the Naval Hospital in Charleston, SC. He practiced diving and submarine medicine and full spectrum family medicine in the Navy prior to accepting his position in St. Cloud. Blonski is board certified in Family Medicine, has a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) degree from the American Association of Physician Leadership and an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management- University of Massachusetts Amherst.
