Amy Porwoll

Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer

Porwoll has served as CentraCare’s CIO since August 2011. In this position, Ms. Porwoll is responsible for information systems, medical records, medical transcription and telecommunications. Prior to serving in this position, Porwoll served as CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital’s Director of Information Systems since 1999. Porwoll joined the organization in October 1994.

Porwoll is currently a member of the St. Cloud State University Foundation Board and also serves as a member of the College of Healthcare Information Management and the Minnesota Epic User’s Group Executive Committee.

Porwoll received her Bachelor of Science degree at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and her Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from the University of St. Thomas.
